Social Entrepreneurship
Seed grants and business skills so women and girls can earn and stay independent.
Economic power is social power. GENET prioritises women's and girls' economic empowerment through entrepreneurship training and seed grants.
With funding from EGMONT, GENET gave seed grants to 32 parents and guardians of vulnerable learners in Blantyre. Despite the cholera outbreak and Cyclone Freddy, 23 of those businesses were still running a year later.
